What happens at the Club?

Kitchen open from 12 noon to 8pm – avoid the queue and order early!

Club nights are held every Thursday night from 4pm until late. The objective of the club night is to offer an opportunity for members to connect and network as well as plan their weekend diving and ocean activities with each other.

The kitchen will usually offer some club specials on this night to entice members to bring their families to the club for an eat-out experience at affordable prices.

The surf ski members meet on late Thursday afternoons / eveinings for a social paddle and course race, followed by a club meal and a rehydration session.

Diving members are able to fill their air cylinders for free if they enjoy a main meal from the club kitchen on a Thursday night. (This offer can only be redeemed on the night – no accumulation). Nitrox fills are also available at a discount on a Thursday with a main meal. For prices on airfills and dives – checkout the Scuba Diving page. [ CLICK HERE

“The monthly committee meetings are held on the last Thursday night of each month, so if you wish to interact with your committee or bring something to their attention, this is the night to do so.”

During summer and autumn evenings there is usually some live music if the weather permits.

Log on to the DUC website – www.duc.co.za and see a real time picture of beach conditions. It may look cloudy and cold in Kloof or Hillcrest but it could be beautiful day at DUC!
