Venue Hire,  Functions & Team-building

The  facilities are available for Function & Venue Hire to members and members’ guests for functions such as weddings, birthdays (kids and adults), wakes and company functions.
The venue hire is available on an exclusive basis on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday nights as the club is open to members on Thursday and Friday nights. Company functions can be accommodated during the day on from Monday to Friday until 4pm. Requests for functions on a “non-exclusive” basis (members can come and go) can also be considered at any time the club is open.

The basic cost of hiring the venue is:

  • 10% COMPULSORY SERVICE CHARGE TO BE LEVIED FOR BAR AND KITCHEN BILLS.
  • ON A DAY THAT THE CLUB IS NOT NORMALLY OPEN (USUALLY MON TO WED OUT OF SEASON), A MINIMUM 6HRS VENUE HIRE WILL BE CHARGED FOR
  • ON DAYS THAT THE CLUB IS NORMALLY OPEN TO MEMBERS NO MINIMUM VENUE HIRE TIME IS REQUIRED..
  • ANY VENUE HIRE EXCEEDING 6HRS WILL BE CHARGED AT R1000 PER HOUR TO COVER STAFF OVERTIME.
  • A STAFF FEE IS CHARGED OVER AND ABOVE THE VENUE HIRE FEE WHICH IS A MINIMUM OF R1000 FOR UP TO 50 PAX. THIS INCLUDES MANAGER, BAR STAFF AND CLEANING STAFF. THIS FEE WILL BE INCREASED DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF THE FUNCTION.

[ More info] We are a licensed premises, so no drinks can be bought onto the premises for the function and all drinks will need to bought from the bar. We have the facility to run a tab for your guests or run a cash bar at club prices. Being a licensed premises the usual rules apply in terms of the guests being of age to purchase alcohol, so yes, ID doc’s will be required if they look underage to the barman

The club has a fully equipped kitchen and excellent chefs with function experience on staff. Outside caterers are not permitted and we are happy to discuss your own choice of menu with you .[Click here] to view the PWC function menu

A Refundable damage deposit to be paid prior to function of R1000.00 (this is refundable after any extra costs incurred are deducted)
